Students, parents, and the general Medina County public are invited to attend the 28th annual Medina County College and Career Fair on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Medina County Fairgrounds/Community Center, 735 Lafayette Road, Medina, Ohio.
In addition to colleges and universities, this event has been expanded to include more local businesses that offer training, further education, and internships. This will provide more opportunities for students to “explore their future.”
Last year the student “Education Passport” was a success. So again this year, students will be offered this Bingo-type card, encouraging them to visit more participating exhibitors’ tables. Upon completing the passport, students will turn it in and receive a prize from the ESC of Medina County.
More than 75 colleges and career-enhancing/resource organizations are currently registered to participate. A list of participating organizations can be found at: www.medina-esc.org, “Special Events,” “College and Career Fair.”
StriveScan, an optional feature, provides student-scanning technology. Students are encouraged to use it, but it is not required to attend. Some organization representatives will be participating in this process. To register for a barcode before the fair, go to www.StriveFair.com. During the fair, students will show their barcode to organization representatives, who will scan it to send students more information about their schools. The day after the fair, students will receive a report with information on the organizations with whom they scanned.
The fair is being hosted by the Educational Service Center of Medina County and Medina County Economic Development Corporation. It is authorized by the Ohio Association for College Admission Counselors. For more information, contact Brenda Zacharias at bzacharias@medinaesc.org.
