Statement

The Master Teacher course is an online class that includes resources, activities and supports for teachers completing the Master Teacher Application. Three (3) semester graduate credit hours are available through Ashland University.

The course opens on December 1st and participants complete all activities by April 15th of the following spring. The course remains open for participants to continue to access the application materials until April 30.

To earn credit for the course, you must participate in activities and discussions with other teachers who are participating in addition to the work required to complete the application. If you have further questions contact Laurie Boedicker, Director of Curriculum, Highland Local Schools.

Participation in the Master Teacher Class will provide you with guiding documents and timeline and the opportunity for collaboration with other teachers. Credit is issued upon completion of the course requirements. Approval of the Master Teacher portfolio is not required to earn credit. Participation in the course does not guarantee the approval of your Master Teacher Application by the consortium review committee.
